Recap: BLUFSF CUERO – First Anniversary Edition

The First Anniversary Edition BLUFSF CUERO event raised $500 for the Center for Native American Youth (CNAY), thanks to community support and generous donations. Next CUERO will be June 6th and will benefit the Race and Gender Equity (RAGE) Project.

1–2 minutes

The evening started with dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Midtown Sacramento. After dinner, we headed to the Bolt for the night.

The First Anniversary Edition of BLUFSF CUERO was well-attended as we hosted a raffle auction fundraiser for a local LGBTQ+ organization.

This month’s beneficiary was the Center for Native American Youth (CNAY) at the Aspen Institute, a national education and advocacy organization that works alongside Native youth – ages 24 and under – on reservations, in rural villages and urban spaces across the country to improve their health, safety, and overall well-being.

We raised $500.00 for CNAY that was donated to the organization on May 3, 2026.

Many thanks to the following for making the night possible:

  • The BLUFSF Team: SIR Aaron Wolf (Organizer), John Kouletsis (Ambassador) & Volunteers Pup Morado and Kevin Alverson.
  • The Bolt Staff (Bartenders and Barbacks) for hosting all of us on the outdoor patio.
  • The Old Spaghetti Factory: Thank you for hosting dinner for us.
  • YOU, the Sacramento Community and San Francisco visitors, for showing up and giving for a great cause!

The Pride Edition of BLUFSF CUERO will be Saturday, June 6th at the Bolt. Join BLUFSF for dinner at Roscoe’s on K Street at 6PM before CUERO; RSVP is recommended.

The May 2026 edition of BLUFSF HARD will be held on this Friday, May 8th at the SF Eagle in San Francisco. Join us for dinner BEFORE HARD at Rocco’s Cafe at 7PM, more information here.
