Recap: BLUFSF CUERO – Pride Edition

The evening featured dinner at Roscoe’s, followed by a fundraiser for the RAGE Project, raising $210.

1–2 minutes

The evening started with dinner at Roscoe’s in Lavender Heights. After dinner, we headed to the Bolt for the night.

The Pride Edition of BLUFSF CUERO was well-attended as we hosted a raffle auction fundraiser for a local organization.

This month’s beneficiary was the Race & Gender Equity (RAGE) Project, a Sacramento-based nonprofit that advances the wellbeing of Black and nonblack youth of color through pillars of Healing, Education & entrepreneurship, Advocacy & Research.

We raised $210.00 for the RAGE Project that was donated to the organization on June 8, 2026.

Many thanks to the following for making the night possible:

  • The BLUFSF Team: SIR Aaron Wolf (Organizer), John Kouletsis (Ambassador) & Volunteers Pup Morado and Kevin Alverson.
  • Bootblack boy Zander for manning the chair and ensuring everyone’s gear was attended to.
  • The Bolt Staff (Bartenders and Barbacks) for hosting all of us on the outdoor patio.
  • Roscoe’s on K Street: Thank you for hosting dinner for us.
  • YOU, the Sacramento Community and San Francisco visitors, for showing up and giving for a great cause!

The next edition of BLUFSF CUERO will be Saturday, August 1st at the Bolt. A ticketed dinner is planned for Saturday, July 18th at Chicago Fire Pizza; tickets will be on sale starting July 1st.

The July Edition of BLUFSF HARD will be held on Friday, July 10th at the SF Eagle in San Francisco. Plans are in the works for the annual dinner leading up to Dore Alley Weekend.
