On Saturday, October 3rd, we hosted the October Edition of BLUFSF CUERO at the Bolt in Sacramento. There was no dinner preceding the event due to a lack of RSVPs.

This month, the Sacramento-based Lavender Library was the beneficiary. The Lavender Library is a lending library and archive housing LGBTQI books and magazines, various media, and archival materials. It hosts book clubs, support groups, open mic nights, craft markets, and other community events year-round and has grown to be an integral part of the Sacramento cultural community
The cache of prizes contained books, posters, Leather gear, and more. We raised a total of $525.00 for the night’s beneficiaries.
Many thanks to the following for making the night possible:
- The BLUFSF Team: SIR Aaron Wolf (Organizer), John Kouletsis (Ambassador) & Volunteer Pup Morado.
- Bootblack boy Zander for manning the chair and ensuring everyone’s gear was attended to.
- The Bolt Staff (Bartenders and Barbacks) for hosting all of us on the outdoor patio.
- YOU, the Sacramento Community and San Francisco visitors, for showing up and giving for a great cause!
The next edition of BLUFSF CUERO will be Saturday, October 17th at the Bolt. This will be a special Leather Invasion edition of CUERO as BLUFSF hosts a fundraiser for The Trevor Project. The event will begin at 9:30PM.
This will be the 8th Annual Sacramento Leather Invasion and consists of a bar crawl through Lavender Heights, starting at the Mercantile Saloon at 7PM, then moving to Badlands and the Depot before ending the night at the Bolt.
The October Edition of BLUFSF HARD will be held tomorrow Friday, October 9th at the SF Eagle in San Francisco. Dinner will be at La Mediterranee on Noe Street; RSVP is required.
